Alpha Wave Systems built custom iOS and Android applications for Tae, a telecommunications distributor operating across Mexico. The suite covered internal operations, sales management, and end-user experiences — each built for reliability at scale across hundreds of thousands of daily active users.
Tae's operations spanned multiple product lines: SIM card activation, prepaid top-ups, and device management. Each workflow had a different user — field distributor, retail operator, or end consumer — and each required a purpose-built mobile experience that could run on affordable hardware in areas with poor connectivity.
We delivered three complementary applications: a tablet app for in-store SIM activation with MODEM integration, a mobile app with QR-based chip scanning for field distributors, and a web-responsive application for back-office inventory and movement tracking. All three shared a common backend and were deployed progressively across the distributor network.
